Ciara Rose embarked on her singing journey with the National Children’s Choir, Cor Na Nog. Starting vocal training at 11 years old under Blathnaid Murphy, she honed her skills within the choir, performing at esteemed venues like the Áras, Farmleigh House, The Three Arena, and even alongside Westlife.
After graduating, Ciara joined the Adele King Theatre School, where her passion for the stage blossomed. She took on lead roles in musicals at The Olympia Theatre Stage and received accolades at drama féis competitions for her outstanding performances.
Continuing her vocal coaching under Ann Fetherston at Griffith College, Ciara became a member of the Lenister Singers. Through this group, she lent her voice to various events and charitable causes, including The Freemasons Annual Charity Christmas party, the Hospice in Harolds Cross, nursing homes, and other charity events.
Fueling her love for performing, Ciara pursued acting training under renowned coaches such as Mary Murray, David Scott, Louise Kiely and Kathleen Warner Yeats. Her acting career included lead roles in Fair City, short and feature films—she even produced a film that streamed on Netflix and is available worldwide on Amazon Prime. Additionally, Ciara’s passion for writing led her to create screenplays and produce/star in her own short film, which gained recognition on the festival circuit in Ireland.
During her acting journey, Ciara crossed paths with the talented Frank Allen and Jim Connolly Heron, who cast her in a role for a 1916 production staged at Liberty Hall, The Pillar Room, and Galway City Hall. As a result, she was invited to sing at various commemorations related to the 1916 Rising. Ciara has loaned her voice to the Easter Commemoration in the Garden of Rememberance, James Connolly’s Anniversary at the Mansion House, the O’Rahilly parade, and Countess Markevich’s graveside, among others. She actively supports the Save Moore Street campaign and performs there whenever she can. Cíara is currently working on her next single “Daughter of Connolly” a beautiful tribute written by Frank Allen.
The pandemic disrupted Ciara’s events, and her most recent noteworthy performance was as a solo artist at The National Concert Hall in 2019. Her breathtaking performance was praised as “stunning” by President Michael D. Higgins. During the pandemic, Ciara turned to writing and crafted a beautiful tribute to those who lost their lives during this challenging time. The moving piece, titled “Gone,” was produced at Jealoustown Studio, capturing the emotions of loss and bidding farewell with poignant lyrics and her exceptional vocals.
Once the lockdown lifted, Ciara seized every singing opportunity and was selected to star on RTE’s Last Singer Standing. Her charisma and relatable personality shone through as she lit up the stage, captivating both the audience and her fellow contestants. With her impressive rendition of “Hot Stuff”. Ciara stole the spotlight, winning the hearts of those around her. Check out her socials today to see Joey from N Sync and Nadine Coyle copy her dance moves.
